History of Thalamus

The Academy, under the editorship of Dr. John McLeod (Canada), started the publication of a periodical entitled Thalamus with the first edition appearing in 1981.

For Non-Members of IARLD, Libraries etc

• All issues of Thalamus up to the end of 2008 are free to download from the IARLD website.
• From January 2009, new issues of Thalamus will be available 12 months after publication date for non-members. They will incur a charge.
• Issues to non-members will be emailed rather than mailed via post (12 months after the publication date – see above).
• Please complete the Thalamus Order and Payment form.

Back-copies and additional copies of Thalamus for Members

• From January 2009, members receive 2 issues of Thalamus (one a special issue) per year as part of their membership.
• From January 2009 new issues of Thalamus will be MAILED to members.
• From January 2009, back copies post-2008 will incur a charge for any new members. (The cost per issue to be advised.) These back-copies will be emailed to new members.
